SNOWFLAKE COLLAGE TAG AND POCKET

I made the handmade papers, for the tag, pocket and snowflake I added all the tiny embellishments. I created the button out of polymer clay. This is the front of the pocket and the front of the tag. The front of the card I made for my Mother in law for her 70th birthday. Much of the front of this card was from items recieved in Sam's swap. But the ribbons are the silks that i dye. The Bridge Painting over the altar. Here you can see the Bridge, along with the Hands of God Sculpture that Robert made. The shiny hoops are called " Glory Hoops" we use them in liturgical and messianic dance. The Cloth on the altar is a Tallit, with 2 large yemenite shofar that we blow during services. I thought you might like to see His painting in its setting.

BRIDGE for the Cambridge United Church Altar. I LOVE this painting. Rob prayed all through it's painting. It is 6 feet x 3 feet and Many people have said they feel the touch of God on it. It has a great deal of meaning.. and is very wonderful to contemplate!

NIGHT,, ( SHHH!!) Robert does not know i posted this.. I Love this painting.. We have a funny thing in our marriage.. Sometimes He creates a work and I never get to see it until it hangs on the gallery wall. One time, I saw a painting i absolutely loved for the first time with a sold sticker on it, and the folks never let us get a picture of the painting. But i LOVE the Moon in this one.. it sort of reminds me of the autumn evenings when Robert and I first met, and kissed under the stars.( almost 22 year ago!)

More Recycled and inclusions papers hanging to dry. I love using the Heavy Duty handiwipes, gives a nice finish to the paper. Pulp picks up the texture of whatever it dries on. I put the stack of wet papers in an antique iron bookbinders press to really press it. From the right we have rose petals and the dictionary words for love, then copper inclusions with scraps of peach paper, then adding in birch tree bark.

This is the Silk Scarf I painted for my twin sister Bernie, it means " Besides Still waters He refreshes and ILuminates me". It has a sort of MONET feel! It was a VERY restful scarf to make because the Lord showed me exactly how to make it. Debi Minter, an artist friend of mine did this great collage art. My part of this collage was to photo enhance the dove over the woman's head. I used photoshop and it took about 2 hours to create the seamless image of the dove in the sky, because i cleaned it up pixel by pixel. HALAL WORSHIP SILKS I make streamers, scarves, banners for worshiping God. This one means "Authority in the Heavenlies." Right now I am concetrating on painting silk scarves for use in praise, dance and prayer.

"GLORY FIRE" SILK The Lord helps me paint silk, and here is the story of this silk! One day i was very tired, and almost done painting, but had some dyes left over. So i took a square of habotai 5 mm, ( prewashed) and scrunched it on a tray. I asked the Lord to help me and i just poured on all the dyes here and there. I let this set about 2 hours. When i rinsed it, there it was! SO God gets the credit for this beauty.

Other silks i have dyed. I use Procion Mx dyes which make you work fast,for the dyes will exhaust in 6 hours. which color is your favorite?
